Did you see the festive fun tractor convoy on the streets of Liverpool?

A convoy of tractors decorated in Christmas lights took to the streets of Liverpool, supported by Merseyside Police outriders. It was not a protest but a way to raise funds for Alder Hey Children's Charity and also to bring some light to what has been a very dark year. Not only did they raise funds for the Hospital, but also the 80 tractors headed to Stanley Park to drop off donations for Fans Supporting Foodbanks. At the time of publishing the they had raised a staggering ₤35,304, taking it well above their ₤5,000 target and it is still going up! The organizer Oliver Harrison said that he was inspired to do this after seeing an event like this in the Isle of Man where farmers where decorating there tractors and taking to the streets to provide a spectacle for people to see on Sunday, 20 December 2020.
