ARE you ready to put on your red festive suit and take part in the Galloway's Santa Dash? Families across Sefton are invited to sign up to the Galloway's Virtual Santa Dash and run, walk or skip 3km anywhere and anytime over December. The virtual event coincides with the official Galloway's Santa Dash, sponsored by Penwortham Town Council, which takes place in Penwortham, on Sunday, 12 December 2021.

Georgia Murphy, Corporate and Community Co-ordinator at Galloway's, which supports people with sight loss across Lancashire and Sefton, said:- "As we are holding our popular Galloway's Santa Dash in Penwortham this year, we want to make sure those who can't attend don't miss out. We were amazed at how popular our virtual Santa Dash was last year, so we thought we would offer people the opportunity to do it again and spread some festive cheer wherever they are. You can take part by running, walking or skipping 3km in your Santa suit anywhere and anytime in December."

Steve Caswell from Penwortham Town Council said:- "We are happy to once again show our support for Galloway's, which is a well-loved charity in the local community. We are sure that seeing a crowd of Santas across Lancashire and Sefton will get us all in the Christmas spirit, all whilst raising much needed funds for people with sight loss. So sign up, put on your Santa outfit and get dashing!"
