Artisan Christmas Fayre sees traders from across the North West support the NSPCC

UNIQUE gifts from artists and traders from across the North West will go on sale in a very special craft fayre for a week. The NSPCC Artisan Christmas Fayre went live online, on Friday, 27 November 2020, and has gifts on offer from:- artists, toymakers, gin makers, beauticians, bakers, jewellers and more. The virtual event will help raise urgently needed funds for the NSPCC, with stallholders who would normally attend the charity's North West Christmas Fayres asked to donate 10% of proceeds to support the charity and ensure we can still be here for children this Christmas.

Sandra Jones, community fundraising manager for the NSPCC and organiser of the event, said:- "This year, we have experienced the greatest challenges in decades in terms of fundraising and protecting children. We've managed to adapt our services to ensure we can deal with the increased calls to Childline and the NSPCC Helpline, and our practitioners have changed the way they work with children and families during the Pandemic to ensure we can keep them safe. However, we still rely on our supporters for about 90% of our income to ensure we're still able to do that, and that's why events like this Christmas Fayre are so important."

Rachel Walker, NSPCC volunteer engagement officer, said:- "We're really excited about the Christmas Fayre, and looking at the virtual stalls we've got lined up, there really does look to be something for everyone. Obviously, anyone who enjoys visiting craft fairs might miss having a wander from stall to stall as they might have done in any other year, but while we're facing new challenges when it comes to fundraising, this particular change means people from right across the country can visit the Christmas Fayre and pick up a very special present or two while helping the NSPCC support children and families when they need it most."

The website is live at:- NSPCC-Artisan-Winter-Fayre.Co.UK, from 4pm, on 27 November 2020 until 31 January 2021.

Merseyside Business woman announced as UK Ambassador of Global Beauty Brand MONAT

THE luxury vegan beauty brand, MONAT has announced Merseyside based business woman, Paola Bizzaroas, will become its new UK Gratitude Ambassador. The role will see her help spread awareness of the MONAT Gratitude Scheme alongside 20 other ambassadors in the:- USA, Canada, and in Poland!

MONAT Gratitude has been an integral piece of the MONAT company culture since its inception in 2014. This movement has grown from the founding Urdaneta family's commitment to instilling gratitude as a core company value. MONAT Gratitude collaborates with innovative non-profit organizations in its local communities that support efforts under its 3 pillars: Families, Children and Education. As a movement, MONAT Gratitude believes in the power of creating conversations and inspiring a greater network to take action. Due to the passion of MONAT Market Partners and commitment to making gratitude a part of their business, what started as a series of grassroots volunteering efforts in Miami has spread across the USA, Canada and the UK.

Beating stiff competition from hundreds of applicants across Europe and America, Paola was handpicked as one of the new UK ambassadors for her dedication to making a positive difference to her local community through her volunteering and giving back efforts. In her new ambassadorship role, Paola is now fully prepared to give back to those in need and help shape the MONAT Gratitude mission.

MONAT has helped Paola in ways she could have only imagined, now with her own successful business as a MONAT Market Partner, it means that she can help her parents who fought so hard to send her to the UK from Venezuela for better life opportunities. Her degree in psychology is where her desire for helping people started, she realised that she had the ability to make people feel better and she is looking forward to continuing to do so in her new role as the MONAT Gratitude Ambassador. "For me helping others, especially kids, inspires me every day. MONAT has changed my life, I realised that I can achieve everything I have always dreamed of. Coming from Venezuela I know the difficulties people face back home and it makes me feel happy that I am in a position to help," says Paola Bizzaro, NONAT Gratitude UK Ambassador.
