Welcome to Southport & Mersey Reporter.  This is your online newspaper covering with full reports all the news, information and music in Merseyside, it was at the hart of European Culture in 2008.  Merseyside is also the golf coast of the UK and has 2 open golf venues, Aintree, home of the grand national, the birth place of the beetles and more. Are news we cover is mostly focused on this areas, Liverpool and Sefton, as well as other parts of Merseyside.  This is the UK's first true online only newspaper.   Please note that any report or interviews on this site are done under the UK Media Code of Conduct as we are classed under newspapers under the PCC rules.  You do have the right to reply and we welcome your help in doing so.
