Formby's Walk of Witness and Passion Play  2018

THE Churches Together in Formby, Altcar and Hightown have again delivered a very interesting Passion Play that followed on from an extremely well attended Walk of Witness. The Good Friday Walk of Witness has been held since the 1980's and had a small service at the end of it. The service developed over the years into a Passion Play, a kind of story telling of the message of Easter. This is a free event and you can see all who took part and more information about it, via clicking on here for a copy the order of service that was given out at the event. It also has a list of all the Easter Day Church Services for the Formby, Altcar and Hightown area. This year’s event’s audience again increased as more people stayed to watch, after walking through the Shopping Centre of the Village.
