A New UK Tour Announced For The Musical Annie

MICHAEL Harrison and David Ian are delighted to announce that their smash hit production of the musical "Annie" will embark on a UK tour opening at the Manchester Opera House, on Saturday, 9 February 2019.  This production recently ran for an extended season in the West End, following a sell out tour of the UK and Ireland in 2015/16 and will open later this month in Toronto.

If you are 1 of the few readers who do not yet know the fantastic story of "Annie," it is set in 1930's New York, during The Great Depression. the story is about a brave young girl called:- "Annie" who is forced to live a life of misery and torment at Miss Hannigan's Orphanage. Determined to find her real parents, her luck changes when she is chosen to spend Christmas at the residence of famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks. Spiteful Miss Hannigan has other ideas and hatches a plan to spoil Annie's search…   With its award winning book and score, this stunning new production includes the unforgettable songs:- 'It's the Hard Knock Life,' 'Easy Street,' 'I Don't Need Anything But You' and 'Tomorrow.'

"Annie" has Music by Charles Strouse, Lyrics by Martin Charnin and a Book by Thomas Meehan.

"Annie" is directed by Nikolai Foster with set and costume design by Colin Richmond, choreography by Nick Winston, lighting by Ben Cracknell and sound design by Richard Brooker.

LHK Youth Theatre Announce Change To Upcoming Open Auditions

LIVERPOOL'S hottest youth theatre LHK Productions are holding open auditions, on 29 April 2018, at The Liner Hotel, from 12pm. Interested male and female performers, aged 6 to 19 are welcome to attend.

The auditions are for a production that will be coming to Liverpool's The Epstein Theatre in November 2018.

LHK Youth Theatre is run by LHK Productions and have become 1 of the most acclaimed and unique theatre and pantomime production companies in the UK.

The production company formed in 2005, LHK Productions has quickly put its stamp on the UK's theatre scene hosting countless shows in some of the biggest and most prestigious venues in the country. To take part in the auditions you do not have to book an audition slot.

Registration will take place on the day; all audition material will be provided, and all applicants will be asked to sing a verse and chorus of a song of their choice.
