Huge emergency service presence after Woman fell in cellar

ON Saturday, 12 May 2018, a woman was taken to Southport Hospital after suffering from a 'major trauma' following a fall at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Southport. We are told that the female patient is thought to have fallen into the hotel's cellar resulting in a huge emergency service presence, at around 12 noon, that included:- the North West Air Ambulance, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, Police and several paramedic crews. It is thought that the casualty had sustained abdominal injuries, but we have not had this confirmed.


Hollywood Stars Return To Merseyside

CHYLER Leigh, star of the TV series Grey's Anatomy and Supergirl, is returning to Merseyside to play 2 charity concerts at the Cavern Club on the 24 May 2018. Actress Chyler will be performing alongside her rock star husband and his band, East of Eli, to raise funds for local charity Liverpool Heartbeat. Former Marvel Comics writer and editor Tim Quinn has created the project which will be helping children at Alder Hey's Hospital.

"Chyler, Nathan and I have been blown away by the amazing work Liverpool Heartbeat do for children across the region." says Tim Quinn. "It is fantastic to be able to support such a cause and I'm over the moon at Chyler and Nathan's generosity, compassion and kindness. The two shows are going to be amazing." if you do not know who Tim has worked with members of the Rolling Stones and also a world renowned comic book writer, working for the BBC, Marvel, DC Thomson and IPC.
