Heads up - Jurassic World - Fallen Kingdom
Photographs supplied with thanks to Universal Pictures

UNIVERSAL are releasing:- 'Jurassic World - Fallen Kingdom' on 6 June 2018, in cinemas across the UK. If you have not seen the other Jurassic films, do not worry as this works as a stand alone film, but it is set 4 years after the theme park and luxury resort Jurassic World was destroyed by dinosaurs, which had broken out of containment. Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves within the island's jungles.

Unfortunately for the dinosaurs on this uninhabited island, a dormant volcano begins to roar back into life and a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction level event is undertaken by Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard). Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who's still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission. Arriving on the unstable island as lava begins raining down; their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times.

With all of the wonder, adventure and thrills synonymous with 1 of the most popular and successful series in cinema history, this all new motion picture event sees the return of favourite characters and dinosaurs along with new breeds more awe-inspiring and terrifying than ever before. "Welcome to Jurassic World - Fallen Kingdom."

Stars Pratt and Howard return alongside executive producers Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow for Jurassic World - Fallen Kingdom. They are joined by co-stars:- James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall and Isabella Sermon, while BD Wong and Jeff Goldblum reprise their roles.

Undoubtedly the star of the show will be the dinosaurs, and this instalment is not going to disappoint...

Directed by J.A. Bayona (The Impossible), the epic action adventure is written by Jurassic World's director, Trevorrow, and its co-writer, Derek Connolly. Producers Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley once again partner with Spielberg and Trevorrow in leading the filmmakers for this stunning instalment. Belén Atienza joins the team as a producer.

Will this film rekindle its audience's interest in palaeontology, just as the original film did? Only time will tell... As with any series the words, "Safety Not Guaranteed" and inevitably audience's nostalgia will lead them to compare this film with the original. Jurassic Park's appeal was always inseparable from its original plot, but it doesn't always have to be negative. This might be the same type of plot, but this new instalment in the saga looks like it will take a huge bite out of this year's film ratings. From what we have had the honour of seeing, it will differently be 1 of the top films of 2018.

Also, we can say that no actual dinosaurs have been injured with the making of the film, but we can't say that is 100% correct about the human cast...

Jeff's gamble to produce a musical adaptation for HG Wells' book has really paid off. Ever since he put pen to paper and released his version, in 1978; it has gone on to achieve huge national success and critical acclaim. Across the region, the CBS Records’ double album has gone on to sell over 15 million records having spent (to date) over 330 weeks in the UK Album Charts. It has also achieved 2 international hit singles:- 'Forever Autumn' and 'The Eve of The War.' It has been in the Top 10 in 22 countries and Number 1 in 11 of them. Not only that, in 2009 the double album and became the 40th bestselling album of all time and is still climbing the rankings. Then in 2012, he was to release a new Musical Version of The War of the Worlds album, entitled:- "Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds - The New Generation." But the thing he is most proud of is turning this legendary Sci-Fi novel into a ground breaking stage phenomenon, which has tour the world.

Firstly, a bit of background to this legend... Wayne has remarkable tales to tell of his own family upbringing that included:- Jewish Mafiosi connections, of watching his father have his own coast to coast radio series:- ‘The Jerry Wayne Show,’ performing with Guests of the ilk of:- Judy Garland, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, and many others, and follow the ‘Chairman of The Board’ Frank Sinatra on radio’s ‘All Time Hit Parade,’ before being blacklisted in the McCarthy era.

There are captivating stories of moving to London’s Knightsbridge when a nation was still largely on stamp rations, by selling his mother’s US cigarettes on a corner opposite Harrods, then in leafy St. John’s Wood years before lining up:- Richard Burton, Justin Hayward, David Essex, Phil Lynott and Julie Covington in ‘The War of The Worlds.’ And how his production company found and recorded a song for the UK launch of Toys R Us that went on to become the No 1 haunting classic; ‘Walking In The Air’ performed by Aled Jones.

Since 2006 he’s entertained hundreds of thousands of fans conducting arena tours, from the UK to Australia and New Zealand, first bringing Richard Burton back to life in 3D, then from 2012 with Liam Neeson in 3D holography. There have been live performances from numerous international artists including:- Russell Watson, Justin Hayward, Ricky Wilson, Shayne Ward and Jason Donovan. The musical enjoyed renewed success with a re-imagined double album featuring Liam, Joss Stone and Take That’s Gary Barlow amongst others.

Wayne didn’t just create a dark alien world set back in Victorian England when he released:- ‘The War of The Worlds’ - he created a monster. As the title says:- 'No 1 Would Have Believed… '

Well if all this has interested you, you will be pleased to know that the ‘The War of The Worlds’ film passes 40 years this year, and is heading back to the stage.. The show will again feature a stellar cast with Jeff Wayne returning to the podium to conduct the 9 piece Black Smoke Band and 36 piece ULLAdubULLA Strings, while Liam Neeson retains his role in 3D holography as The Journalist. In addition, with the iconic 3-tonne, 35-foot tall Martian Fighting Machine firing real flame Heat Rays at the audience... The show will also feature ground breaking levitation effects! 100 foot wide 'Animation Wall' with 2 hours of cutting edge CGI. Leaf drops and much, much more! So this is 1 show you cannot miss! Also, did you know that Jeff has also played tennis since the age of 5, was No 1 and Captain of his High School and College teams, and is possibly the only ‘Yank’ to represent Great Britain (twice). He’s also captained his county, Hertfordshire, for the last 30 years garnering 13 national titles and counting?
