Weather leads to 1st G-Fest moving date and location

ON 23 September 2018, the very 1st D-Fest was meant to take place, but due to the severe weather, organisers, Southport's Learning Rooms were left with no choice, but to cancel the event, at Oaklea Barns Guest House, in Lydiate and move it to Pleasureland, in Southport, on a new date of Sunday, 30 September 2018. The event is aimed at giving those with a wide range of disabilities the chance to experience a music festival within a safe and supportive environment. Sadly, due to the move, this has lead to a scramble for help, as a few of the acts can no longer perform and also has led to a rethink of the specially designed events and activities that are on offer. The new event will now run from 3pm to 8:30pm, at Pleasureland and more information can be obtained from the local charity's website or by calling:- 01704 551521.
