Southport RFC's Firework Extravaganza 2018

THE annual Southport RFC's 'Firework Extravaganza' which took place on Friday, 2 November 2018, within the clubs' Home Ground, located on Waterloo Road, Hillside. The Merseyside Rugby Union Club team members and also supporters turned out enforce to help set the night off with a bang, with music provided by Sandgrounder Radio and a selection of Bouncy Castles, a electric bull ride, along with a wipe-out and assault course to entertain the family, thanks to Bouncy Castle Parade. That's not forgetting the clubs bar and kitchen who provided those attending with scrumptious food, both inside and outside the club house.

Inside the packed out club house was the clubs 1st Team Captain, Dan Whalen and his band:- 'Outside Human' who where performing on the night. Sadly for us, it was to packed to get in to photograph them, but they sounded amazing! The next Southport RFC home game will be on Saturday, 17 November, at 2:15pm, when Northern Division Southport 1st XV take on Bowdon, in the Lancs/Cheshire Division 1 2018/19, 2018/19 Season matches. Southport Ladies will be at home on Sunday, 25 November 2018, when they clash with Didsbury Toc H Ladies in the RFUW Championship - Women's Championship North 2, 2018/19 Season matches. For younger fans, the Under 9's team take on Waterloo, on 11 November and that's just the start...
