ROX gets set to score in Liverpool

LUXURY UK jewellery brand ROX has announced it is opening its 1st boutique, within Liverpool, investing ₤1 million to create a new 1,600 sq ft jewellery boutique generating 10 new jobs for the City. ROX, founded in 2002 by entrepreneurs Grant Mitchell and Kyron Keogh, is one of the UK's most exciting independent jewellery retailers and currently has stores in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Leeds and Newcastle. The new store, located at Peter's Lane, in Liverpool One, 1 of Europe's leading retail and leisure destinations, will be the jeweller's 6th boutique. Following in the success of its Leeds boutique, ROX is rolling out its 2nd ROX concept boutique focusing purely on its own range of diamond jewellery, silver and luxury goods.

Alison Clegg, Director, Asset Management, Grosvenor Europe, added:- "We know that, increasingly, our customers are looking for unique shopping concepts and unrivalled retail experiences, which is why we are thrilled to have ROX join Liverpool ONE. It's great to be a part of the success story of such an exciting independent retailer, and the boutique will seamlessly complement the high end hub that is Peter's Lane."

Award winning Designer Graven, who have most recently completed work on the executive and boardroom Lounges, at Anfield Stadium, has been commissioned to lead the design. Work on site will begin in October with the new boutique expected to open in the middle of November in time for the Christmas shopping period. The design will mirror the existing look and feel of ROX stores with an emphasis on high specification fixtures and finishes, luxurious fabrics and a chic, contemporary layout providing the perfect backdrop for their exclusive jewellery collections. ROX Liverpool, will deliver the signature ROX shopping experience.

Ross Hunter from Graven said:- "It's lovely to be working with ROX again; it is a brilliant retailer and I'm sure will be perfect in Liverpool. It's always good to see more silverware coming to Liverpool!"

A key feature of ROX Liverpool will be its exclusive private shopping lounge known as the:- "Thrill Room" which will have its own Moët & Chandon champagne bar and luxurious shopping salon. ROX pioneered this in-store shopping concept over 10 years ago to ensure it was able to deliver a memorable and personalised experience for all of its customers. "Thrill Room" will be open to customers and will also double up as an event space.

Commenting on the new store, Kyron Keogh, managing director of ROX - Diamonds and Thrills said:- "Liverpool has always been part of our expansion plans and we waited until we found the right location. Peter's Lane at Liverpool 1 is the perfect home for ROX; cutting edge, vibrant and stylish, and we are confident ROX will be a welcome to addition to the already exciting retail line up. Our distinctive store design combined with superior customer service promises to deliver a luxury retail experience like no other in the City."

ROX has built up a reputation for its glamorous events and has played host to some of the UK's hottest stars including:- Emeli Sande, The Wanted, Lewis Capaldi and Nina Nesbitt who have both performed intimate sets for ROX's VIP customers.

We know that ₤1,000 can make a huge difference to the incredible work that charities do and we're looking forward to seeing how this financial boost will change lives for the better."
