Formby Christmas Lights Frosty damaged again!

OVER the weekend, the Formby Christmas Light's Mascot:- 'Frosty' has been damaged again. It is suspected that the high winds damaged this much loved icon of the Village's Christmas Lights, but it has been the target of vandals over the last few years and some are saying it was vandals who damaged it. The damage includes a snapped arm and broken lights, plus it has been tipped over. Lets hope that it can be fixed in time for Christmas!

Southport Hesketh Roundtable Table's Santa Sleigh Float is touring Southport

THIS years Southport Hesketh Round Table's Santa Sleigh Float has been doing the rounds, and we pictured him and the crew up on Oak Street to Churchtown, a few days back. Sadly, due to potential damage of Santa's sleigh, by the high winds, they sadly could not attend Birkdale Village, on Saturday, 14 December 2019. But, weather permitting, the Big Man will be on his rounds again, from 6:30 pm, on Balmoral Road, on Monday 16 December 2019.
