Southport's Late Night Shopping and more this Christmas

ON 19 December 2019, the Southport BID held a late night Shopping Promotion for Southport Town Centre. Events started at 5 pm, with the SONG Talent Academy Choir performing in Boots. Other events included Matt Fearon, who played in Marks and the band, Spencer Bargain Blooze in the Cambridge Arcade. Plus Hayley Murry in Doodles, Wesley Street. On Lord Street, Ebony Scrooge was seen greeting shoppers. Other local shops also kept open, as well as some of the bigger names, on Lord Street, like Lakeland, who offered customers mince pies and a glass of Prosecco. This is 1 of the many activities that have taken place and are taking place in the build up to Christmas and New Year. The most popular is the Nutcracker Christmas Trail, in Southport Town Centre. Have you done the Trail yet? If not, you have until 2 January to find the 10 Nutcracker Kings who have appeared all over Town... As you find each one, remember to write down his name, as if you manage to find all 10 of the Nutcracker Kings, and all the names, you can write them on a trail sheet and post it into Santa's post box, located within Wayfarers Shopping Arcade. A winner will be drawn in January and an iPad mini is up for grabs! To locate the trail booklets, pop into the Atkinson and Wayfarers Arcade…
