Film review:- Jeepers Creepers

Two college students played by Justin Long and Gina Philips unleash a terrifying force of evil that wants to eat.  On their way home, the two are forced off the road by a truck and later see a man in a trench coat and a hat that covers his face dumping something down a pipe. The film's tagline "What's eating you?"  might mislead you, but as soon as the plot starts, it's a bit of a give away. They try to get help from a crazy woman who has too many cats and a loony tunes psychic, only to realize an ancient demon known as the Creeper wants them for a snack!  Yum Yum.....  The film seemed very repetitive in places, but director Victor Salva has still pulled off a worth watching but only the once film.  Very original in places, the film will surprise you...!

Interestingly there are two more films called Jeepers Creepers, one Directed by Robert Clampett and one by Frank McDonald!  Well 3 stars as this film, once seen, will not shock you again.  Although for media students this is a good one to study.

Voices, first credits only:- Justin Long as Darius "Darry" Jenner, Gina Philips as Patricia Jenner, Jonathan Breck as The Creeper, Patricia Belcher as Jezelle Gay Hamilton, Eileen Brennan as Eliza "Cat Lady" Peterson, Brandon Smith as Sgt. David Tubbs, Peggy Sheffield as Waitress Beverly, Jeffrey William Evans as Manager, Patrick Cherry as Man at Jukebox, Jon Beshara as Trooper Gideon, Avis-Marie Barnes as Trooper Weston, Steve Raulerson as Cellblock Officer, Tom Tarantini as Roach, Will Hasenzahl as Officer with Hole in Chest and Kim Kahana as Camper Driver.                                  Film Review by Patrick Trollope.
