Southport Air Show 2022 - Part 2

THE 2022 Southport Air show was held over 9 July and 10 July 2022. This event was a massive draw for visitors to Southport, helping boost the local economy, that has been slow to recover from the effects of Covid19 restrictions. This is our 2nd and last full report on the show, that had seen a brilliant line up of aerial aerobatics, performed in a wide range of aeroplanes, autogyro and helicopters. The biggest highlight was seeing both the UK's famed Red Arrows and the Republic of Korea's Black Eagles, on both days! The show also included an amazing display of precision flying with the amazing site of a World War 2 Spitfire flying with the Eurofighter Typhoon, something you would never expect to see. Other attractions on the beach included:- mini tanks, bungee trampolines, land zorbs, bumper cars, simulators and a paintball range. The event also used part of the ticket fee to reduce carbon emissions, to help help Sefton get 1 step closer to becoming net zero by 2030...
