North West at risk of leaving a legacy of paperwork chaos

AINSDALE based Chartered Financial Planning firm, FPC, has been shortlisted for a Merseyside Independent Business Award in the Professional Services Business of the Year category.

Founded by Morecrofts Solicitors in 2013, the Merseyside Independent Business awards were designed to platform and celebrate independent businesses, their owners and those who support them.

FPC, which celebrates its 40th birthday, in 2022, is a Chartered Financial Planning firm and Independent Financial Advisers based in Ainsdale, near Southport. As part of its award entry, the firm demonstrated its commitment to retaining its independence and private ownership as well as investing in its employees and office space. The business' community efforts include the funding for a new food bank in Bootle, during Covid, as well as hosting a series of financial literacy workshops for youngsters in Sefton and Liverpool.

Managing Partner at FPC, Moira O'Shaughnessy commented:- "We were delighted to have been shortlisted for the Merseyside Independent Business award, alongside such worthy contenders. This award acknowledges the positive social and economic impact that independent businesses have within their local communities; having our work recognised is testament to the efforts of everyone at FPC. We believe it is our commitment to each other, to our clients and to our community that makes us a worthy contender in this category."

The awards ceremony takes place in October, at the Titanic Hotel, in Liverpool, with Moira O'Shaugnessy, Managing Partner at FPC in attendance, alongside the other category nominees:- Avrenim Group Limited, Bathgate Business Finance, Medicash and Langton Genealogy.
