Southport BID gets Christmas 2022 off on the right note!

THE festive illuminations are normally turned on with a big event, but due to the financial situation, Southport BID decided to do things on a smaller scale for 2022. In the run up to Christmas and New Year, Southport has lots to offer, along with it's illuminations, the Toen has many activities, and events, for young and old, still to come... But, starting the Festive Season off, Southport BID held a 'Festive Fun Day,' on Saturday, 19 November 2022, staring at the Lord Street Bandstand and later ending for Carols around the Christmas Tree.

This might not have been as big as previous years, but the atmosphere was fantastic. As people took Christmas Carriage Ride's around the Town Centre, others took part in the The Gingerbread Family Trail, or visited Santa's Grotto, those attending also got to see local talent taking centre stage. Performing on the day where:- Express, Central Dance Studios Southport, Babyballet Southport, Formby & Crosby Kelly Bond, Sandgrounder Radio, The Atkinson Wellbeing Choir All Souls Dramatic Club and SONG. All supported by a local theatre events company, Moonlight Events, who provided the PR and power.
