News reports located on this page = 1. Formby Christmas Festival 2023 ON Saturday, 2 December 2023, the Formby Christmas Festival was held at Formby Pool. The event was backed by Formby Parish Council and the Mersey Cats and aimed to bring some Christmas magic to the Village. Sadly, weather and illness meant some of the stalls and acts could not attended, but overall the event was a fantastic success. On the main stage, run by the Merseycats, and compèred by:- Mark Jones, was:- The Kirby Skifflers, Free Spirit, Some Other Guy, Fast Trak and Vintage 3. Te event was opened by the Mayor of Sefton, Councillor June Burns. Also, thought out the day, the big man himself also attended, was Formby Rotary Club's Father Christmas, on the newly resord Carol Wagon.    These are a few photographs taken at the event and a short video clip from the event, plus you can see a few more photos on the next page within this edition!
