AS the Liverpool FC Victory Parade was ending what was for the majority of people a day full of joy and celebration would soon be overshadowed by an incident on Water Street. This incident happened when a car drove into crowds leaving the area. This left a City both shocked and heartbroken.

This incident though demonstrated the real nature of Liverpool, as many tried to assisted in the aftermath of the incident. Merseyside Police and other Emergency Services, including:- St John Ambulance swiftly acted. Merseyside Police also kept the media informed and its quick updating of information helped to control and stop fake news from spreading. Soon after many locals took to social media offering places for anyone stuck in the City a place to stay over night and other offered free lifts. Also Liverpool Fans got praised for helping injured in press conference. Liverpool Fans were praised for helping injured after a vehicle ploughed into a crowd of supporter in 1st press conference. The following day, Liverpool's reputation of pulling together continued with a local photographer Adam Thompson, known for his Humans of Liverpool work has set up a GoFundMe Page.
