Southport Remembrance Sunday 2025

SOUTHPORT held it's annual Remembrance Parade and Service at the Town's War Memorial, on Lord Street.  This year was very damp as you can see in the video footage, as well as cold, but still many veterans of all ages, along local military personnel and organisations, along with civic representative and even local school children joined this years Parade and Service. Numbers were significantly down of the general public, with any appearing to have chosen to go to local Churches and other venues to mark the act of Remembrance. But, this years service was very moving.
