Churchtown Christmas Fair 2025

ON Sunday, 30 December 2025, the annual:- 'Churchtown Christmas Fair' was held. This is an extremely important festive event for the local community that not only brings together the businesses and residents, but also attracts families from all over the Northwest.

This was a very enjoyable day packed full of entertainment, local arts, and craft stalls, plus many festive activities both within and outside many of the local businesses.

This year's events included the traditional visit, from Santa, along with his helpers.

Nearly all the businesses and homes have dressed up the Village Centre, so even though they event has finished, don't miss the chance to see this picture postcard Village light up for Christmas. Also, try out the village's friendly business to see what they have to offer, and shop local.

If you are looking for festive events in Churchtown right now, the village is still very active with events throughout December 2025, particularly at the local pubs and churches...

Here is what is still to come for Christmas 2025 in Churchtown, Merseyside:-

Breakfast with Santa (The Bold Arms):-

Events run fon:- Saturday, 13 and Saturday, 20 December 2025. This event kids get a cooked breakfast and a chance to meet and greet with Father Christmas. Tickets are £8 per child and include a present.

The venue is also offering a specil event for dogs:- "Breakfast with Santa Paws" which runs on:- Saturday, 6 December (10:30 am) where you can bring your dog for a treat and a photo.

Breakfast with Santa (The Hesketh Arms):-


This event runs on both:- Saturday, 13 Decvember and Saturday, 20 December (9:30 am), and it includes a kids' cooked breakfast and a meeting with Santa for £14.95 per person.

Santa's Afternoon Adventure (The Bold Hotel):-


On Saturday, 6 December and Saturday, 13 December 2025, you can go to a festive afternoon event designed specifically for children.

Children's Christmas Party:-


On Saturday, 6 December (2:00 pm to 4:00 pm) at:- St Cuthbert's Church Hall (hosted by the Conservative Club). Tickets are roughly £6. Expect party games, food, and a visit from Santa.



The local venues have a packed schedule of tribute acts and parties.

  • Thursday, 4 December 2025 (Tonight) = Murder Mystery – "Homicide for the Holidays".
     

  • Friday, 5 December 2025 = Bruno Mars Tribute Party Night.
     

  • Sunday, 7 December 2025 = Mamma Mia The Party.
     

  • Wednesday, 10 December and Thursday, 11 December 2025 = Golden Oldies Afternoon Christmas Party.
     

  • Friday, 12 December 2025 = "Parklife" (90s/Indie) Party Night.
     

  • Sunday, 14 December 2025 = Christmas Afternoon with Asa Murphy.
     

  • Saturday, 20 December 2025 = Robbie Williams Tribute Night.
     

  • Sunday, 21 December 2025 = LK's Christmas Party (Family friendly, £10 kids/£15 adults).

The Hesketh Arms:-

  • Friday, 5 December 2025 = 00s Party Night.
     

  • Friday, 12 December 2025 = Motown Party Night.
     

  • Sunday, 21 December 2025 (5:00 pm) = Carols Around the Fire. The Southport Wellbeing Choir will be performing festive classics—a great option for a more traditional atmosphere.

The historic St Cuthbert's Church has several traditional services upcoming:-

  • Sunday, 7 December 2025 (4:00 pm) = Christingle Service with Sunday, Club Nativity.
     

  • Thursday, 11 December 2025 (6:00 pm) = Christmas Carol Service.
     

  • Sunday, 14 December 2025 (6:00 pm) = Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols.
     

  • Christmas Eve (11:00 pm) = 1st Communion of Christmas (Midnight Mass).
     

  • Christmas Day (10:30 am) = Family Holy Communion.

If you are looking for a Santa's Grotto since the 1 at the Churchtown fair has finished, Dobbies Garden Centre (just down the road towards Bickerstaffe) is running its annual Grotto and:- "Quiet Grotto" (for children with additional needs) throughout the month.
