Celebrates Outstanding £3,365 Fundraising Achievement for the Alzheimer's Society and Highlights the Vital Role of Volunteers

RADFIELD Home Care is proud to announce the success of an extraordinary fundraising effort that has raised £3,365 for the Alzheimer's Society. The achievement was formally celebrated at a special presentation event honouring Dementia Friends Ambassador Joe Sherville, who has now completed his third fundraising round of the year in support of people affected by dementia.

Joe's continued dedication has made a profound impact, and Radfield Home Care was delighted to stand behind him with its full support. The event was attended by the Mayor and Deputy Mayoress of West Lancashire, alongside a number of valued community partners connected to Radfield Home Care, reflecting the strong community spirit behind the initiative.

Jade Trafford, North West Regional Fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Society, attended the event to gratefully receive the funds raised, with a formal cheque presentation marking this meaningful milestone.

Dave Bellis, Owner of Radfield Home Care Liverpool North, Sefton and Ormskirk
, expressed his gratitude to everyone who played a part in the success:- "We are incredibly proud of Joe and everything he continues to do for a cause that touches the lives of so many families. His commitment, along with the support of his wife Sandra, is truly inspiring. We thank everyone who helped make this year's fundraising such a success."

This achievement also highlights the invaluable contribution of volunteers, whose passion and dedication drive the Alzheimer's Society's work forward. Volunteers like Joe play a vital role in:-

  • Raising essential funds that support life-changing research, care services, and advocacy programmes.

  • Building awareness within local communities about dementia and the support available.

  • Creating inclusive, compassionate environments where those living with dementia feel understood and supported.

  • Without volunteers, much of the Alzheimer's Society's work simply would not be possible. Their time, effort, and generosity help ensure that individuals and families impacted by dementia can access the support, guidance, and hope they deserve. Joe's ongoing contribution stands as a powerful example of the difference 1 dedicated volunteer can make.

Radfield Home Care continues to champion excellence in the home care sector through its Be There Initiative, leading the way in compassionate, high quality home care and supporting enriched, independent living across the community.
