Fantastic family show coming to Southport Flower Show 2026

CHILDREN'S TV Presenter Andy Day is heading to the show on:- Saturday, 22 August 2026, with his own fantastic family show, Andy's Dino Raps, which is full of interactive fun and catchy raps about everyone's favourite dinosaurs.
 
Andy Day is a BAFTA nominated presenter and actor. He is best known for his work on CBeebies, where he has presented various shows since 2007. These shows include: Andy's Wild Adventures, Andy's Dinosaur Adventures, Andy's Prehistoric Adventures, Andy's Safari Adventures, Andy's Aquatic Adventures and most recently Andy's Global Adventures. These series have all been a massive hit with kids and parents alike and he also fronted Andy's Secret Hideout and Andy's Baby Animals.
 
The latest in the line of mega successful:- 'Andy' shows for the BBC:- 'Andy and the Band' is a modern day:- 'Monkees' and features Andy's pop band:- 'Andy and the Odd Socks.' The band launched at Glastonbury in 2017 and have played many festivals and their own theatre tours around the country since, alongside releasing 3 studio albums; quite simply the most exciting thing in children's live entertainment. They are patrons of the Anti Bullying Alliance and spearhead the national Anti Bullying Week each year in primary Schools. Odd Socks Day (for Anti Bullying Week) was created as a fun and simple way to annually celebrate that everyone is different.
 
Andy starred in CBeebies' enchanting productions of:- A Midsummer Night's Dream and Romeo and Juliet and is well known for his work on:- Get Set Go and Big Fun Time, as well as starring in 4 arena tours for:- CBeebies Live. Andy is in huge demand for voice overs and also writes comedy links for the channel.
 
Andy especially enjoys the Christmas period as it means pantomime time! He has appeared for many years in CBeebies' annual televised pantomime, playing colourful roles in:- A Christmas Carol, Peter Pan, Alice In Wonderland, Thumbelina, Hansel & Gretel, Jack In The Beanstalk and The Nutcracker. Outside of CBeebies, Andy has enjoyed starring roles in pantomimes across the country, from Cinderella to Sleeping Beauty and beyond.
 
Andy is a published author, with his 1st novel 2 novels:- Dino Dad and Dino Dad: Ice Age published in 2024. His 3rd novel:- Dino Dad: Big School Talent Show, that was released in February 2025.

Andy will join BBC Gardeners' World Presenter Adam Frost (Thursday), TV Chef Phil Vickery (Friday) and Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke (Saturday) as part of this year's special guest line up.
 
This year's Southport Flower Show will be held at the wonderful Victoria Park, on:- Thursday, 20 August to Sunday, 23 August 2026. We have lots more exciting announcements to make in the coming months.
