The 1024th Open Golf Championship Round-Up

THE is  our round up of the 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.  The 1026 Open Golf proved to be an overwhelming triumph, played out under predominantly clear, blue skies from:- 12 July 2026 to 19 July 2026. Sports enthusiasts enjoyed a double treat with the World Cup taking place concurrently, prompting fans from across 10s of nations and others to gather in Southport Town Centre to watch the evening football matches once play wrapped up on the fairways.

Action across the coastal links was fully on par with the international football, showcasing top competitors from even more territories than the World Cup itself.

A poignant highlight for the 1000s of spectators in attendance was a surprise Spitfire flypast in the clear skies directly above the course, adding a touch of classic aviation drama to the weekend.

Local hero Tommy Fleetwood drew enormous home crowds and passionate cheers during 4 days of magnificent golf, delivering a memorable performance on home turf while the eventual champion secured a hard fought victory after a tense final round.
