IS THERE REALLY NO TALENT IN SOUTHPORT?

A recent call for talented people to showcase their talents at Blackpool Tower's Circus has prompted massive interest from all over the UK with the exception of Southport!

Bosses have reported unusually low numbers low numbers of people coming forward from Southport and want people to show that the area can top the talent stakes.

Blackpool Tower & Circus General Manager, Geoff Sage comments:- "We have had a fantastic response to the talent search from certain pockets of the country but we were surprised when the entries started coming in that the number of people from Southport were few and far between."

The search is now continuing for talented individuals in Southport to send in their details in the hope of being called forward to audition. Following the auditions one lucky group will win the chance to appear at a live circus performance in the summer to an audience of 1400 people!

Geoff concludes:- "We know there must be hundreds of talented in Southport. All we are asking for is a talent of any kind, that you consider to be entertaining and a real enthusiasm for the circus, we'll provide the rest. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to appear with some of the best circus acts in the world."

To apply just send in your details to Circus Talent, PO Box 7, Leyland, PR26 6WW, email:- circus@mtjpr.co.uk or call one of the team on 01772 421 442. The closing date is the 22 May.
