1. Star Wars:- Empire of Dreams Biography Saturday 8pm. With work underway on the sixth Star Wars film, director George Lucas and stars Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill are among those revealing the inside story of the sci-fi saga which changed cinema forever. 

2. Trapped:- Beauty ITV1 Saturday 9pm. Martin Clunes reunites with Men Behaving Badly writer Simon Nye to play a lovelorn aristocrat with rather unfortunate looks in this updated version of Beauty and the Beast. Sienna Guillory co-stars.

3. Most Haunted Live Living TV Saturday-Monday 9pm. Most Haunted 5 Living TV Tuesday NEW SERIES. 9pm. Most Haunted Extra Living TV Tuesday NEW SERIES. 10pm. Yvette Fielding, Derek Acorah and the rest of the paranormal investigators return for more spooky shenanigans with a three-day ghost stakeout in Wales, before fifth SERIES. begins.

4. Belonging ITV1 Sunday 9pm. This poignant drama sees Brenda Blethyn as a stoic wife whose husband (Kevin Whately) abandons her for another woman, leaving her in charge of his elderly and eccentric relatives played by Peter Sallis, Anna Massey and Rosemary Harris.

5. The Ultimate Sci Fi Top Ten Sky One Monday 8pm. A panel of movie experts reveal the greatest sci fi moments of all time. Will ET and Elliott on their airborne BMX or Keanu Reeves' bullet-dodging in The Matrix make the grade?

6. Blood on the Turntable BBC3 Monday 9pm. NEW SERIES. The back stage tensions of punk icons The Sex Pistols are revealed in the first of a three-part look at some of the music industry's most explosive internal battles.

7. Early Doors BBC2 Monday 10pm. NEW SERIES. The regulars of The Grapes come under the spotlight once more as Craig Cash's acclaimed comedy returns and there may be love in the air for landlord Ken (John Henshaw). 

8. Brighton Bomb BBC1 Tuesday 9pm. The Hunt for the Bomber BBC1 Tuesday 10.35pm. Almost 20 years after the IRA blew up the Brighton's Grand Hotel in an attempt to assassinate Margaret Thatcher and her cabinet, these chilling documentaries revisit the fateful day.

9. The World's Favourite Animal Animal Planet Wednesday 8pm. From cuddly chimps to scary snakes, Animal Planet begins a season of documentaries about the best loved creatures from around the globe, before viewers choose their personal favourite. 

10. Mad Mad House Sci Fi Thursday 9pm. NEW SERIES. 10 brave contestants compete for $100,000 by moving in with a white witch, a vampire, a voodoo priestess, a naturist and a primitive man. And we thought this year's Big Brother housemates were terrifying.
