             "SPOOFING" Email Warnings...
MADASAFISH.COM has been targeted by non-legitimate e-mails that appear to have come from them. This type of emailis known as
"spoofing" and have been affecting other service providers including BT and AOL in resent weeks. These e-mails sometimes arrive with attachments containing viruses and others contain adverts or porn sites.

Madasafish Customer Care Team said that "The ones that we have spotted have the subject lines:-

"*WARNING* Your Email Account Will Be Closed"

            "Important Notification"

            "Account Alert"

Each have different content, but all ask that the recipient to open an attachment. These emails are not from us and we are currently working to stop them. If you have received one, please be certain to not open any of the attachments as they may contain a virus or use the links they ask you to visit."

This problem is getting worse and internet users are being warned by ISP's (Internet Service Providers) to take the opportunity to ensure that your security software is up to date and properly running. You should not only use an anti virus scanner, but also a anti spyware product. The products we recoment is are:-

            for domestic usage.

             St Luke's Church, Formby
            Open Day
            programme 2005
THE Open Day is next Saturday. Its purpose for us to show people the kind of work that a church does, and to demonstrate the potential relevance of the church in the lives of people in the parish.

Preparations have gone well-the complementary copy of a special magazine was distributed, posters have been displayed, we anticipate that the Formby Times will carry a special item next Thursday, and we should get a mention on Radio Merseyside. Now it is up to us as members of St. Luke's to make the day a success.

            So what can we do?

Pray-the day is really about making disciples, so please pray for the success of the day, that people may come and may be impressed by what they see. Also pray for the displays and those arranging them that we may strive to do our best.

Join us for prayer in church at 8.30 am and/or 4.00 pm.

Sign-up to help, either by acting as a guide or to help with the catering-two lists are at the back of church.

Come along, and bring a friend or neighbour with you, especially if they would not normally visit a church.
