Film review:- Oceans 11.
Warner Bros knew that they were on a roll when they go the cast together for this one. No snake eyes with this film directed by Steven Soderbergh. With its tag of, “Are you in or out?”, you might be mistaken to think this is about gambling, No…… well ok, it is in part. It might not be the most original story out in the cinema, but this one has a very strong cast that helps this movie stay both entertaining and, surprisingly for a film of this type, very classy. The story revolves around a character, called Danny Ocean, who is played by George Clooney. He is on parole from New Jersey penitentiary, but within 24 hours of leaving the joint, he is back up to his old tricks. Who says leopards can change their spots? Danny sets about orchestrating the most sophisticated, elaborate casino heist in history. $150 million up for grabs and an ex-wife Tess played by Julia Roberts up for grabs! In one night he hand picks a team of 11 men to do the job. This is a very interesting, action robbery film that makes you want the bad guys to win! Ok, a bit predictable in places but has a good, if inevitable, twist at the end and it is fun to watch. This is a good four star film!

Cast first credits only:-

Brad Pitt plays Rusty Ryan, George Clooney plays Danny Ocean, Matt Damon plays Linus Caldwell, Andy Garcia plays Terry Benedict, and Julia Roberts plays Tess Ocean, Don Cheadle plays Basher Tarr, Eddie Jemison plays Livingston Dell, Bernie Mac plays Frank Catton, Elliot Gould plays Reuben Tishkoff, Carl Reiner plays Saul Bloom, Scott Caan  Virgil Malloy, Casey Affleck plays Turk Malloy and Shaobo Qin plays The grease man.
