‘Come Together’ for TV’s Beat Beatles on River Mersey cruise

THE famous Mersey Ferries are embarking on their first live music cruise of 2006, with Stars in Your Eyes winners ‘The Beat Beatles’.

Whether you’re a day-tripper or a lifelong Merseybeat fan, the live Beatles Party Night Cruise takes place on Friday 21 April 2006.

People are being urged to get their ticket to ride as soon as possible for the three and a half hour night cruise, which departs from the spectacular backdrop of the Liverpool Waterfront.

Neil Scales, Chief Executive and Director General of Merseytravel, which owns and operates the Mersey Ferries, said:- “The Beatles Party Night Cruise is one of the most popular on board the Mersey Ferries. There’s no doubt it will be a fantastic night out.”

Everyone dressing up for the magical mystery tour stands a chance of winning a bottle of champagne for the best male and female costumes.

Resident DJ Krazy Lez will keep the sounds ringing on into the night.

The cruise departs from Liverpool’s Pier Head at 8.30pm and Seacombe at 8.45pm.

Tickets cost £15 and advance booking is essential.
