The band played on and on!

Despite the heavy rainfall this afternoon, band "Dreamcatcher" played and sang their hearts out to an empty audience at the bandstand.

That was until band members rushed off stage to a parking attendant who was attempting to book them even though they had permission from Sefton council to park their vehicles on the pavement along side the bandstand.

Local Charity McMillan cancer (collector) was also being booked. What turned out to be a joyful event turned into a disaster.

Report by Southport.GB.Com's onthespot together with a picture of the Booking taken by Phil! The rest of the shots on this page are by our Southport Reporter Editor Patrick.
