Film review:- Resident Evil

Nice Film, bears some resemblance to the games, although mainly only in passing.  For example, Umbrella, the company is used, some of the monsters are used, and there are zombies aplenty as well.

The plot is quite nice and the twist is done very well.  special effects are also very nice, and again used very nicely, and are well integrated into the film.  The acting isn't too bad, but could have been better, although the computer game doesn't have that much dialogue to compare too.

Generally a good action/horror film, with the cast being cut down to size fairly early on in the film.

Fast paced, with plenty off bullet filled action, and some nice personal interaction, you actually get to like some of the characters, before they die, and in some cases come back again. Definitely worth a watch, whether you like or play the computer games, I'm giving this film 3 out of 5 as it's as good as Minority Report but still not as well acted as Spider-Man.
