Ricky Whittle allegedly run over 'paparazzi'!

AS readers of our News Bulletin Mailing will have read, Ricky Whittle who is a Strictly Come Dancing contestant has been released on bail after allegedly running over a well known 'paparazzi' from Liverpool, called Mr Steve Farrell, in his car. The alleged incident happened incident in Liverpool City Centre in the early hours of Friday, 27 November 2009. The Hollyoaks actor walked into a police station in Merseyside at 5.30am on Friday, 27 November 2009, where he was held for questioning. He was later bailed pending further inquiries. It has been reported that Mr Farrell, is now taking legal advice from Manchester law firm Pannone in relation to a potential civil injury claim against Strictly Come Dancing's Ricky Whittle. This comes days after Ricky allegedly ran over Farrell. PA reported on 2 December 2009 that:- "Mr Farrell maintains that he was going about the normal course of his business as a freelance photographer when he was struck by a vehicle being driven by Mr Whittle." It has been reported widely that at the time of the alleged incident Paramedics were called to the scene, on Duke Street, but the photographer, Mr Farrel, declined immediate treatment. Mr Farrell, is then said to have later took himself to a hospital where he was treated for minor injuries before being discharged. Merseyside Police can confirm that a 29 year old man from the Billinge area of Greater Manchester, was arrested on suspicion of assault in Liverpool. The confirmed he was released on police bail pending further enquiries following an incident in Duke Street, Liverpool city centre in the early hours of Friday, 27 November 2009. THE Formby Churches Together invite you and your family to come and hear the Christmas Story told in words and music by members of our Formby community. the event will be held on Saturday, 12 December 2009, starting at 11.00am on the Formby Pool Grounds, with the help of real sheep, goats, an Clyde the Donkey. After the play come and talk to the pigmy goats and the donkey will be outside the Pool Café. Children can come and Talk to the animals and ask questions of the actors who will be still in their costumes. Bring your camera and have your photograph taken with Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus, or, if you are brave enough, King Herod. The Formby Churches Together are very grateful for the encouragement, co-operation, and support received from The Formby Pool Trust (staff and members) and Range High School.
