OCEAN CREATIVE RUNS FREE NETWORKING EVENT

OCEAN Creative who are members of the Formby Partnership  have held a fantastic networking event, on 20 January 2010, at The Royal Pub on Liverpool Road, Formby.  It provided an ideal opportunity for businesses to discuss each others business issues at the same time as unwinding over a drink.   The night's event was very relaxed as a result. That's not forgetting that networking came with free sandwiches... The event was sponsored by O2 and also had representatives from Manky Monkey, and Ocean Creative's chosen charity of the year, Claire House. John Porter said that:- "We are delighted to have had a good turn out at our first monthly networking event for 2010. All Ocean clients are welcome to come along and meet each other and do business with each other. We would like to thank O2 for their support." Gill Fell who handles PR for Ocean Creative added that:- "These events are aimed to help local business to network. Many of us forget that we have got very good businesses locally, like Ocean Creative and we find our selves dealing with large businesses from outside the area. Our aim is to get people to thinking at looking local first and to re-develop a community spirit... But these events will offer a fantastic chance for local businesses to say what product ranges they have offer and we hope they will also get some good deals going!"
