Help boost blood stocks.
THE National
Blood Service (NBS) is asking donors to help keep blood stocks
healthy as we get back on track following the recent bad weather.
Many sessions were cancelled when we were hit by the snow and ice in
January which meant there was a dip in blood collections.
Thankfully, the generosity of donors over Christmas meant that there
was enough blood to meet demands, but the NBS is urging donors to
help get things back to normal.
If you would like to become a donor and are aged between 17 and 65,
generally in good health and weigh more than 7st 12lbs, call:- 0300
