Film review:- Eight Legged Freaks

As the tagline goes "Do you hate spiders? Do you really hate spiders? Well they don't like you either."  Well it was not going to be long before some one did it, it is another evolution of "Evolution" style set.   This movie has all the class and acting skills in it that you would expect from a classic B Movie and the plot to boot.   But I have to say it still shocks you in places.....  "Let the squashing begin..."  Well the plot is thin and rater predictable and in some places reminds me of, well "Evolution" and also of "Tremors" or a bad 50 or early 60's sci-fi.  Heck this is the same style of movie though, so I can not splat it that easily.   It all starts at a hut that contains a variety poisonous spiders get exposed to a noxious chemical, thanks to its owner feeding free range bugs to them.   This then causes them to grow to gigantic proportions and they start to get hungry.   Well the pets start going missing and soon do their owners.   Can't say much more or I will tell you the hole film.  But if you can't stand arachnids, then don't see this film.   It has to be placed on the must see film list, for this year. I have to give it a waking four stars out of five.

Do stay for the music at the end and here the story.  It is very funny!   The film does have a very good plus as well as being funny.  It holds the potential to interest children to take a serious look at the scientific side of spiders, well......   Strange though none of the acting stood out much except for Kari Wuhrer as she good looker, but it is also known by its working title "Arac Attack" it is a spider movie.
