LIVERPOOL on Friday, 18 May 2012 held a
springtime celebration of the city's arts, culture and heritage.
This celebration included the staging of an incredible 70 free
events that aim to inspire and delight visitors of all ages. Sadly
the rain put damage to some of the events, but the show did go on
and what a show! Light Night gave locals and visitors to Liverpool a
sneak preview of what's to come later in the year, in and around
Liverpool. Those who went along could take part in special tours,
			mass sing-alongs, a candle-lit labyrinth, fascinating exhibitions
and open studios. Not forgetting a Zombie event, a taste of the
spectacular Brazilica Festival, a Chinese arts showcase,
architecture tours, ceilidh, light projections, street theatre, live
music and so much more. We popped along and took a few snaps of the
candle-lit labyrinth, one of the light projections that where both
sited at Liverpool's Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King. Also
a shot of Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral who also held some of the
events. if you did any of the activities or have photos, get in
