Lifeboat Station, at Formby point, on the Merseyside

below shows a view of the Sand Dunes and the Mersey Bay,
with P&O RoRo Ferry heading out into the Irish sea. The
dunes and foreground are coved in snow. the background
features the Nautical Mile Marker/ the permanent Mile Marker
post was one of 5 erected along this stretch of the Mersey
Coastline. This one is sited above the world's first
Lifeboat station, now reduced to a few ruins. The words:- "Best

panorama. the Southport Reporter logo is also shown briefly.
