United Reformed Church Christmas Events

A fun packed array of events for United Reformed Church on Hampton Road, Southport, promises a joyous festive period. 

Parents and toddlers are to be treated to a Christmas party with a friendly pre-Christmas call from Santa at 10 am on December 4. Followed by the Ladies guild are to have their final meetings with carols and readings on December 10, 12 at 12.30 am and 2.15pm on December 17. Where tea and a meal will be served.

Also the wives group will meet on the evening of December 8, where coffee and mince pies will be the food for thought for their part in celebrations over advent. 

Finally a family day service on December 15 at 11 am, led by Reverend Brown will be followed by a charity event for Blind aid at 4.15pm will also be treated to Christmas tea and rounded off at 6.00 pm by Reverend Jarrett for carols and readings.

7.30pm FOY - games, activities, bible teaching for children from Year 7 to Year 11. (In two separate groups - young & old)

Our big news is that of the construction of a new building for public worship, in joint venture with Quest Housing Association, in Princes Street, on the piece of derelict land currently shielded by green fencing. It will hold seating for between 250-300 people and is due to be finished, God willing, September 2003.
