A FANTASTIC night of high standards and hard judging at
Southport Pleasureland's Casablanca's as the semi finals part
one took place on Thursday 13 March.
All the semi-finalists deserved
to go through, but sadly only a handful could get to the
finals, so the judges had a hard night ahead of them.
One of the singers from Widnes said "It is my first
time I have sung in a competition and I am glad I have got
this far. It is fantastic just to get to this
stage." Two young ladies took time out from
working at Formby's Pinewoods Pub, to sing in the competition,
one of them Becky told me "It is grate fun and a
fantastic atmosphere here. I am enjoying it, no matter what
the out come."

The next semi-final will be held on Thursday 20 March and the
Final on Thursday April 3. DO NOT MISS IT!
