THIS week Liverpool remembered the Battle of the Atlantic with a number of events and played host to many ships including a Russian nuclear warship and HMS Invincible. Many people visited during their stay and for those who could not make it, got a final chance to see them as these visitors left port on Tuesday afternoon. These photographs were taken from Crosby shore as they sailed down Liverpool Bay towards the Bar and the open sea.
