The Best of WHAM! at the 'Club Tropicana'

SWEENEY Entertainments are bringing a fantastic new show to Liverpool’s Epstein Theatre, featuring the very best of George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley in:- 'The Best of WHAM!' on Friday, 11 May 2018.

It is 37 years since the pop duo formed 1 of the most enduring groups of the 80's. In 4 short years WHAM! sold more than 28 million records, topping the charts with 3 albums, 4 number 1 singles and 11 top 10 hits.

They featured in the Live Aid concert of 1985 and were the 1st western pop group to ever tour in China.

The Best of WHAM! includes all those greatest hits, a few B side favourites and a couple of early George Michael bonus songs.

This brand new concert show stars Craig Webb, performing as George Michael. Craig made his TV debut on Gary Barlow’s talent search:- 'Let It Shine,' which aired live in February 2017 on BBC1. He made it to the quarter finals, where he performed with Busted.

With sensational vocals, choreography, costumes and an awesome live band, The 'Best of WHAM!' is an authentic musical journey that truly recaptures the full WHAM! experience. This non stop 80's party will get audiences singing and dancing to all the greatest hits including:- 'Wake Me Up Before You Go Go,' 'Freedom and I’m your Man,' plus many more.

Sweeney Entertainments, co-founded by Julie and Peter Sweeney, has been providing a wide repertoire of top quality touring shows for theatre and corporate events for over 15 years both in the UK and internationally. 2017 was the company’s strongest year to date with more shows touring than ever before and 2018 brings even more new shows and UK tour dates.
