St GEORGE’S Southport
OPEN DAY

LAST Saturday St George’s United Reform Church on Lord Street, Southport held an Open Day. The weather was kind and the event was well attended. The Church itself is an inspiring building and provided an excellent backdrop to an exhibition of paintings, executed by members of the Church’s Art Group which is run each Friday morning for members of the congregation, by Mr Howard McKenzie. Some of the pictures were of a high standard and all were enjoyable to peruse. There were also bric-a- brac stalls, and various goodies and welcome refreshments were on offer. All of which generated much interest. For further information of the Church and its Services, see the Church leaflet or contact the Minister, the Rev. Ken Summers, on 01704-533353.
