Southport Armed Forces Day 2019
AS part of the UK Armed Forces Day events,
Southport held a Drumhead Service, honouring Britain's Armed Forces, both
past and present, as well as future, on Sunday, 30 June 2019. The event was
held on the Princess Diana Memorial Gardens, on Southport's historic Lord
Street, next to the Town Hall. The event also included a Military Parade,
that went from Chapel Street, via both Hoghton Street and Hill Street,
ending with a salute at the Town Hall steps, on Lord Street. Other
