Out yet again on the pub crawl; The night was a damp one, but the hardy pub goers where out in force in Formby on Friday.  The lively atmosphere of the Grapes soon made you forget the damp weather outside.  The pub is situated near the Formby Bypass and is on one of the main roads into Formby.  With a large car park and with food being served, it is a good location to think of when booking for your Christmas parties.   With a bear garden out side and the floor being set on several levels, the most distinctive thing about the pub, apart from it having very good looking bar staff, is that it has a large metal sculpture of grapes hanging off the side of the main wall!     The locals are friendly and welcoming and the land Lord is very approachable.  He likes to make friends with the regulars, and is always mingling with his clientele, when ever possible.
