 Road Works
Road works hit Southport and Formby again!  The timing of the work is always badly timed.   As ever, the Highways Agency has come up trumps with the Formby Bypass work.  Work has already started on the second phase of the coast road this week and with the heavy road works due to be started on the Formby Bypass traffic confusion is set in place for the rest of year.

The work on the Bypass will cause a lot of slow traffic and, with the run up to Christmas making people us the car more, we advise you to plan your journey using alternative routes into and out of Liverpool and also to leave plenty of time.

The road works are part of the project to improve drainage and the road surface.  When finished it is hoped that the flooding that sometimes hits the road will be a thing of the past making it a safer road.
