Booming Time in Halsall

Local Councillor, Gordon Rankin, a trained pyrotechnic, put on a display that dazzled crowds, with help from his eight-man team.  All of them, trained by Northern Lights, hold pyrotechnic licenses that enabled them to send up display fireworks!  This was not a light-hearted display, but a real ground-shaking, that illuminated the sky and the large crowds that packed out the fields.  "Our displays have been going on for some years now and we love to entertain the public.  We would like to thank all who helped us put on the displays each year we had done it." said one member of the team.   One of the spectators said "The rain has not put us off and you can see why!"
