Building and Pentagon Disaster
Our Sympathy goes out to all
in America and elsewhere who have lost relatives or who have
been affected in any way by the terrorist attacks in New York
and Washington DC.
Our hearts go out to the
50 thousand people in the World Trade center. Tower 2 collapsed
at 3:00pm GMT after being hit two planes. The first
plane hit at 2:00pm GMT, striking Tower 2 and then a second hit
at 2:10pm GMT Tower 1. Tower 1 all 110 floors
collapsed around 3:27pm GMT. Around 2:30pm GMT the Pentagon
was also hit. A car bomb hit the US State Department
around 3:15pm GMT. All three planes were hijacked by callous
terrorists, with no regard for innocent people.
The US Treasury and White House were also evacuated as
well as near by buildings. All planes/flights were
grounded at 2:50pm GMT. Some Chicago buildings were also
evacuated. A fourth plane crashed near Pittsburgh, around 3:45pm
GMT, near West Summerset Airport.
3:40pm GMT London Stock exchange
and Cannery Warf were evacuated. Manchester Airport also
shut down flights to Canada and America due to Canada and America
closing all airports. A third Sky Scraper collapsed
later next to the World Trade Center.
