Leading Liverpool entertainment venue celebrates new line up and launches

AS a new season awaits, the City’s thriving leisure and entertainment sector is preparing itself for autumn, winter and festive events, as the team behind The Bentley are thrilled to announce that their unique brand is as busy, and popular, as ever. The Bentley premium venue and cabaret lounge, located in the Brunswick Street area, already has its own reputation for hosting a wide range of events, gigs, weddings, parties, celebrations, and corporate events, fashion shows and gender reveal parties. It also features its own unique roster of tribute acts, parties and sports related dinners, to offer great afternoons and evenings out.

This September, General Manager Ryan Dillon is proud to announce a newly consolidated team at The Bentley, including:- Catering Manager Charmain Adu, Wedding and Events Coordinator Chloe Seed, and Events Manager Jay Harris. This highly skilled and experienced personnel group will be on hand to organise and promote the venue’s already popular events as well as introducing new concepts. Chloe has recently joined The Bentley from Downtown Liverpool in Business and brings with her a fresh approach to the growing area she is working within.

The Bentley, which overlooks the waterfront and the City’s iconic 3 Graces buildings, has a range of suites which play host to occasions in its Cunard Room, Rooftop Terrace and Whole Floor spaces. Live music and entertainment events take place in The Bentley’s Port of Liverpool area, with its own state of the art sound and tech facilities to ensure attendees will get the very best live music experience. With beautiful views of the City, and a 1930’s inspired cabaret stage, it also has its own dedicated bar.

General Manager Ryan Dillon states:- "2022 has already been a successful year for us here at The Bentley, and with a talented and revitalised team, we have so much in store for the rest of the year and plans already in place for 2023. Our clientele are a loyal and growing bunch and we are already receiving pre-bookings for our Christmas events, where we cater for small to medium office parties for up to 100 guests. This year, teams are really keen to have a festive event to celebrate and look forward to, with a great atmosphere guaranteed. As always with The Bentley, our aim is to really entertain and brighten the lives of everyone who walks through our doors, and our cabaret shows, live music events and shared party nights will be in place for the rest of the season so that our guests can come and relax, enjoy great food, entertainment and our signature warm welcome. Our Mother’s Day event earlier this year was so popular that we are already offering places for next year’s event. As a hugely popular sold out occasion, where we hosted over 350 women for a really magical day, we know that Mother’s Day 2023 will be even bigger and better. As a result of our busy plans, and I'm really proud of all of the team who are working tirelessly to prepare and get everything in place, right down to the last detail, we will be spearheading a new recruitment drive here at The Bentley. We know that there are some challenging times ahead, so we know that employment opportunities with us are being announced at just the right time. Our already experienced team are delighted to welcome Chloe Seed; we know that weddings are a real source of joy, and she will be extra busy without nuptial events. We look forward to welcoming our established guests, and new ones, over this coming season, and also new employees, who we can guarantee will love being a part of our multi skilled team. As our calendar works up for the rest of the year and into 2023, we are determined to do what we do best here at The Bentley, as well as providing some vital jobs in our beloved home City and Region."

Northern to reward 1,000 commuters with 'free' train journeys to work

HOT on the heels of their £1 'Flash Sale' last week, Northern has now announced plans to reward 1,000 of its season ticket customers with the cost of their commute. The train operator, which serves major Cities across the North of England including:- Hull, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle and Sheffield, is launching the:- 'Big Commuter Giveaway' promotion to anyone who buys a daily, weekly or annual season ticket during September or October.

It is hoped the move will encourage more people to ditch the car and take the train to work. Anyone who buys a season ticket during that time will be entered into a draw from which 500 people a month will win back the cost of their ticket up to the value of £100.

Mark Powles, Customer and Commercial director at Northern, said:- "Following the success of our £1 flash sale, we wanted to give something back to our season ticket customers, who commute to work with us on a regular basis. And to those that haven't bought a season ticket before, but are facing rising petrol prices and mounting City Centre parking charges, we hope the chance to win back the cost of their commute might help convince them to make the switch from road to rail. We've made great strides in the last 12 to 18 months in terms of the customer experience; with our new fleet of modern trains and station renovations. I'm confident new rail commuters will be pleasantly surprised."

Northern is the 2nd largest train operator in the UK, with nearly 2,000 services a day to more than 500 Stations across the North of England.  For more information about season tickets and to enter the draw, please visit:- NorthernRailway.Co.UK.
