Cute dinosaur family a roar some success after arrival of new Jurassic World Rebirth movie

A family of 8 prehistoric pals have never been so popular since the launch of the new Jurassic World Rebirth movie.

DinoTrek GModels has 8 impressive dinosaurs of all types and sizes, which have been delighting families at venues across the country.

They include:- hand held animatronic dinosaurs; sit-on baby dinosaurs; a pool of 16 dinosaur rangers; and a range of fun accessories including:- digging station fossil pits, giant dinosaur eggs, and dinosaur craft activities.

They can bring along children's dressing up ranger kits, mini jeeps and much more.

Their appearances provide a real wow factor and put smiles on children's faces as they experience the awe of life like puppetry, even more so since the launch of the new Jurassic World Rebirth which has introduced the magic of the movie series to a new generation of fans.

Families love being transported back to when dinosaurs ruled the Earth.

The newest member of the family and the star of the show is Blue the Velociraptor; a 2˝ metre high animatronic dinosaur who you can't miss!

Other members of the DinoTrek family include:- Spiral the Spinosaurus; Apollo the Ankylosaurus; Terry the Pterodactyl; Smudge the Stygimoloch. And there's 3 cute Triceratops; Pixie, Dixie and Trixie.

DinoTrek GModels is part of the GModels brand, which has over 20 years of experience in the modelling, event and entertainment industry.

GModels is based in Southport and provides:- events, attractions, models, performers, marketing and more for attractions, shopping centres, family gatherings, events, festivals, corporate events, private parties and more all over the country.

GModels Managing Director Lisa Hames said:- "Our DinoTrek GModels were busy already, but since the launch of the new Jurassic World Rebirth movie we've been enjoying huge interest! Children love dinosaurs. They get so excited when they see them. Blue the Velociraptor is the newest addition to our family; he's huge! Blue is around 2˝ metres tall, you can't miss him when he walks in. Our animatronic dinosaurs are really impressive because of how they move and the sounds they make. Children really do think they're real! We have 16 dinosaur rangers who are very well trained actors who play their parts very well. They add to the entertainment. They can also talk about the history of the dinosaurs, so our visits can be educational as well. Children love our digging station fossil pits, exploring what they can find, and things like our giant dinosaur eggs, our sit-on dinosaurs, our jeeps, our craft activities, our photo props and accessories. They get so involved in the experience. For places like Town Centres, shopping centres, retail parks, it increases engagement, footfall, dwell time and adds to the positive experience for visitors. We can also provide dinosaurs for smaller events too; it's an amazing sight for a family when you see dinosaurs have taken over your garden for a Jurassic Party! We have a wide array of characters and performers, including:- superheroes, stiltwalkers, fire eaters, magicians, and many more. When you see large animatronic dinosaurs walking towards you, it has that real wow factor. They are fun, they are engaging, they are educational too. We keep investing and expanding our offering so we have a wide range of dinosaurs to suit all sizes of occasions, from a family gathering to a large event. We have the flexibility to tailor what we offer to what people need. We enjoy working with a range of clients who come to us with their vision, it's then down to us to bring that vision to life."

Sefton Council announces commitment to reducing Carbon emissions from Transport

SEFTON Council is developing a Low Carbon Transport Strategy and has issued a Position Statement updating people on progress and the action it is taking. These actions are an important part of its Climate Change Emergency Declaration.

Transport emissions... Transport related activities make up nearly a third of the Carbon Dioxide emissions in the Liverpool City Region. Sefton Council is taking a range of actions to reduce the transport-related emissions, in areas including:- staff travel, Council vehicles, construction, maintenance, electric vehicles, active travel and reducing travel demand.

This new statement confirms to local people that the Council is continuing to work to address the climate emergency and sets out how it will reduce its own carbon emissions to Net Zero by 2030.

Cllr Mhairi Doyle, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Wellbeing said:- "Not all the actions can be delivered immediately. Some will require a lot of investment whether it is time, energy or funding, while others will need us to re-think how our Towns and Cities look and how people travel."

Business-as-usual no longer an option... "As we said when declaring our Climate Change Emergency, business-as-usual is no longer an option. in 2024 was the warmest on record globally, and every fraction of a degree matters. The Low Carbon Transport Strategy position statement is part of us committing to these actions and explaining why we are taking certain actions and how they will make up part of the work to be cleaner, greener and healthier in Sefton."

Work so far... Sefton Council has started work in all the areas outlined in the position statement. Early priorities include:- work around electric vehicles and charging points, active travel, maintenance, landscaping and drainage, and in construction.

Sefton Council is encouraging active travel through schemes such as the Maritime Corridor scheme, school streets and neighbourhood projects. These all aim to make the journeys by walking, wheeling and cycling safer and healthier.

Cllr Daren Veidman, Cabinet Member for Housing and Highways said:- "We have started some great work in reducing our carbon footprint, from switching to LED street lighting, which has reduced our energy consumption for street lighting by 58% and carbon emissions by more than 3,700 Tonnes of CO2 per year, launching a consultation on our local cycling and walking infrastructure plan and integrating sustainable drainage in our major schemes. And more great work is to come. From upcoming electric vehicle charging infrastructure and continuing to look to expand our school streets and school neighbourhoods, low carbon is a priority in everything we do."
