Formby Christmas Lights Switch On 2025

ON Friday 21 November 2025, Formby Village was packed out with big crowds enjoying the fantastic festive atmosphere. One side of the Village where Fun Fair activities with the other side a large stage with acts entertaining the crowds throughout the evening. We have to say that the Formby School Of Dance where amazing this year, as where all the other acts. Both the singing and dancing on the main stage from the Children and local groups this year really created the buzz and proved to be a brilliant start to this years festivities. A big mention to Chorley's Angles, Matrix Security, and also Merseyside Police for helping to keep us all safe on what was a cold night. But the biggest thanks must go to Formby Parish Council and the local businesses, who all helped to put on what was a very good, family friendly event. Please remember that these local businesses and the other shops and businesses within Formby need your support this Christmas, so please help them by providing them with trade.
